In early February 2016, dozens of fast-growing startups and innovative non-profits connected with local students and entrepreneurs and U.Va. alumni to discover internships and job opportunities, and to learn the modern skills needed in tomorrow’s workforce.

"As growing numbers of U.Va. students seek entrepreneurial work, Charlottesville has quickly become a thriving community for startups– many of the companies featured at the fair were founded by or employed U.Va. alumni," said Daniel Willson, alumni relations manager for HackCville. "We see the fair as an important step forward in connecting students to the impactful startup careers in our own community,” he continued.
